DML FAQ : Chassis : How can I check the brake adjuster locks?
There will be a small bracket that acts as a 1 way lock. Make sure it's not hung up and in contact with the adjuster (can only turn the adjuster 1 way) on the wheel cylinderss, make sure there aren't any obvious leaks. Leaks will often times be nothing more than a damp spot, but brake dust will cling to any dampness. Also, gently pry back the rubber boot on the wheel cylinders, not all the way off, and make sure to not get any brake dust behind the boot. Sometimes they'll leak in the cylinder, but won't be leaking from out of the dust boot.
