Q:
Procedure for shifting into 4LO (Through 1999 trucks)

1. Come to a dead stop.
2. Put the tranny in N.
3. I usually start with the transfer case in 4HI.
4. In one smooth, firm motion, pull:
   1. Back
   2. To the right
   3. Back
   4. To the left when you hit the rear limit
5. If you stop or slow down during this, you'll be left in t-case Neutral and will need to go back to 4HI and start all over again.
