For those with 5-speeds, you can get rid of the up-shift light by simply removing the wire from the connector at the PCM. It's circuit #B11 (BLACK Connector) - Orange/Black - just take the wire out of the connector and no more shift light. (You can cut it...but don't recommend it as putting the wire back into the connector is easier than cutting/soldering...and cleaner looking too.)
